A leading multinational is building a massive new plant in Vietnam, and we’re proud to have been selected to deliver a complete ion exchange system from A to Z.
This large-scale project includes a full detailed engineering package — from 3D design and technical drawings to fabrication and delivery of all steelwork, piping, instruments, and pumps.
Our solution combines two main parts:
In the first stage, our patented CCIX (Continuous Counter-current Ion Exchange) technology removes the bulk of impurities.

In the second stage, a fixed bed polishing unit eliminates the remaining ions to achieve the required purity.

At the heart of the system are two ION-IX Multiport valves, realizing a true simulated moving bed. These units handle the majority of the impurities, while the remaining traces are removed in three stainless steel polishing tanks. Two tanks operate in adsorption mode, while the third regenerates the ion exchange resin — all fully automated by a pneumatic valve system.
Both installations will run continuously, 24/7.
To ensure flawless operation, we’ve equipped the system with high-reliability instrumentation connected to a PLC-based control cabinet. Each cabinet is thoroughly tested in-house before shipment — a crucial step that saves valuable time during on-site installation.
With most of the pipework preassembled and tested in our workshop, we can ship with confidence and ensure a smooth and efficient installation once on-site.
The equipment will be shipped to Vietnam in the coming weeks. Next year, our construction team will be on-site to build and assemble the installation. After that, our commissioning team will take over to bring the system into full operation — the final step in turning this ambitious project into reality.
What’s next?
This article marks the kickoff of a multi-part series where we’ll take you behind the scenes of this project step by step.
In the coming weeks, we’ll highlight each phase of the process: from engineering and 3D design, through manufacturing and assembly, all the way to on-site installation and start-up.
Stay tuned as we share the journey of building a Complete CCIX Installation from concept to completion.
