Every successful project starts with a clear process definition — and that begins with close collaboration with our client. Together, we define key parameters such as the desired yield, incoming flow rate, and operating conditions (e.g temperature and chemicals being crucial factors).
Once these fundamentals are set, we can develop the P&ID’s, which forms the foundation for the design of our ION-IX Multiport Valves featuring CCIX (Continuous Counter-current Ion Exchange) technology and our fixed bed Polishing Tanks.
Our ION-IX Multiport valves represent top-tier engineering — primarily constructed from polypropylene, complemented by stainless steel and Hastelloy elements. Numerous factors must be carefully calculated, including flow velocity, thermal expansion, pressure deformations, and chemical resistance, to ensure safe and reliable operation.
The polishing section consists of three large stainless-steel tanks (each with a capacity of 14 m³), operated by several large 6” pneumatic valves.
One of the engineering challenges lies in designing the instrumentation panel, which must accommodate all the large-diameter piping and instruments while being positioned as close as possible to the tanks.
With components of this scale, the result is a truly impressive installation — one that demands meticulous calculation, thorough engineering, and practical foresight to ensure it can be built smoothly and safely on-site by our construction team.
After defining the P&ID, we design all piping, instruments (such as flow and pressure transmitters, analyzers), pumps, and supports (steel platforms and pipe racks).
The entire setup is modelled in 3D with precise dimensions to guarantee a perfect fit within the client’s plant layout.
Each component — from instruments and piping to pumps — is documented in detailed datasheets, prepared with input from our trusted suppliers.
This way, our client receives a complete, transparent overview of the system, allowing every detail to be discussed and optimized before construction begins.
